Ένα βιντεοκλίπ-γροθιά στη σύγχρονη εποχή της εικονικής πραγματικότητας

Η νέα δουλειά του αγαπημένου Αμερικανού μουσικού Moby φέρει τον τίτλο “These Systems Are Failing”.

Ανάμεσα στα εννέα κομμάτια του άλμπουμ περιλαμβάνεται και το τραγούδι "Are You Lost in the World Like Me?" που μαζί με το ρετρό βίντεο κινουμένων σχεδίων, α λα Ντίσνεϋ των δεκαετιών του '40 και του '50, που το συνοδεύει αποτελούν γροθιά για τη σύγχρονη εποχή της τεχνολογικής και "gadgetικής" αλλοτρίωσης.

Social media, smartphones, λαμπερές οθόνες, ταμπέλες και τόσα άλλα υψηλού τεχνολογικού επιπέδου... "μαραφέτια" με φόντο μία γκρίζα εικονική πραγματικότητα, χωρίς πραγματική ανθρώπινη επαφή, χωρίς φύση, χωρίς επαφή.

Παράλληλες οντότητες που μέσα από το μήνυμα και τη λαμπερότητα της οθόνης μπορούν να κατανοήσουν την "πραγμάτωσή" τους.

Μεγαλουπόλεις-τέρατα, με γιγάντιες οθόνες και θάλασσες από τυποποιημένες γκρίζες φιγούρες που αντιμετωπίζουν παθητικά, στωικά την εικονική ζωή τους.

Αλληλεγγύη; Ανθρωπιά; Κατανόηση; Επαφή;... Συναισθήματα;

Πουθενά χώρος για χρώμα, παρά μόνο για τα emoticons.
